Webbing connectors for added lens to camera protection review by linda jones on 1/13/2013
I did this before, ordering web connectors for my longer lenses rather than having to add a second strap having to contend with the camera strap as well.
I used these Op/tec connectors, connecting them to my long lens strap brackets, then all you do is close the 'quick connect' around the camera strap. It keeps you from having to have two cumbersome straps around your neck, and although it probably isn't quite as protective as the two straps, it will keep either the camera or lens from hitting the floor if there is a unlock mishap.
What a great investment that solves a problem! Thank you Op-tec for providing lots of options for us photographers, online too, saving us so much time looking for these things to fine-tune our gear!
