With the OP/TECH USA System Connectors, the camera/binocular owner has several connection options. You can buy an extra set of connectors to customize the strap to best suit your needs. Straps can be lengthened to be worn across the chest or shortened to be worn at chest level. Another feature of the System Connectors is the small carrying handle created when the quick disconnects are latched together.
The Reporter/Backpack System Connector allow users to add a camera or binoculars to a neck strap or backpack. It incorporates rugged clamps which attach to any 1" wide webbing or seamed area commonly found on a camera strap, backpack or photo vest. The Reporter/Backpack System Connector is available in sets of two.

I added these to a Lowepro backpack and use them to hold my camera when hiking. After getting headaches and neck/back pain from using neck straps for extended periods these make a world of difference. I can hang with a FF DSLR with a 400mm lens off of these and have total confidence with their ability to hang on. Question
I want to attach my Nikon SX20IS camera to my backpack using this Reporter/Backpack system connectors. I also want to use a wrist strap on the camera once I remove or disconnect it from the backpack. What other items do I need to buy to do this? The wrist strap I'm interested in OTCWQDWN seems to have small connectors. It doesn't have to be that wrist strap but that is the style I am wanting but not necessary. I can't tell if I would need adapters or if this is something I can not do. Any help is appreciated.
